Band Series: No. 2 - Alone I Walk
It was a spur of the moment decision when I reached out to Shane Tasker from Storm The Wall Productions a few weeks ago to inquire about the possibility of meeting up with brothers Franky and Pascal Courcelles from Winnipeg, Manitoba's acoustic pop-punk band, Alone I Walk (AIW). They were scheduled to roll through Saskatoon on their Western Canadian Spring Tour and my hope was that they would have some down time in the afternoon before their show at Vangelis Tavern on April 27th.
Shane promptly put me in touch with his business partner, Cody McManus, who would be on the road with AIW as Tour Manager and fill-in bassist! We settled on a meeting place and after a quick introduction we got right to it and hit up a number of spots around Broadway Avenue that resulted in some of my favourite images to date.
